Delivery Information and FAQ’s

Q. How do you deliver and how much will it cost?

Where goods are in stock, we will endeavour to ship your goods the same day if the order is placed before 12.00 noon. If your selected goods are not in stock you will be notified by email and we will give you an estimated delivery date and or alternative product. Goods are dispatched using Royal Mail, or where appropriate our chosen courier. Please note, prices displayed here are for UK mainland delivery only. For shipping costs to addresses outside of UK mainland, please contact us by email or phone for a quotation. Orders will be shipped free of charge if your order is £50 or more.  For orders with a value of less than £50 the standard delivery charge is £3.50.  If you require EXPRESS delivery the cost is £6.95.

Q. I need my toys in a rush! Do you do next day or EXPRESS delivery?

If you need a special or urgent delivery service for the NEXT WORKING DAY then please call us to check the item is in stock and we will do our best to provide you with the best postal option. You can also select the EXPRESS Delivery Option in the check out. Please contact us and or place your order on-line before 12 noon in order to request this service by mail order. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that once the parcel is in the post it will arrive within 24 or 48 hours; this liability falls to the postal service. You can also collect your order in our Worthing store.

Q. Can you gift wrap my purchases?

A. Yes, we can. If you wish, we can wrap your gift in either pink or blue tissue paper and add a cream hand tied ribbon.  We can also include a handwritten gift tag with a message if you require. A gift receipt will be dispatched with the delivery that will exclude the price you have paid. Q. Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

A. Yes, we do. Vouchers can be bought in denominations of £20 and £10, and may only be redeemed in our Worthing store. Gift Vouchers may be personalised with a free Gift Card. Please email boutique@harmonyathome.co.uk to arrange this.

Q. How easy is it to use this website?

A. We have tried to create a website that is easy to use and accessible to everyone. If you have a question that is not answered on this page please do not hesitate to contact us at boutique@harmonyathome.co.uk and we will do our very best to help you.

Q. Can my order be delivered to a different address from my billing address?

A. Yes, it can. You will find an option to choose a different delivery address during the checkout process. You can also save multiple addresses for a quicker checkout process, the next time you shop.

Q. What happens if I am out when the postman tries to deliver?

A. We will either send your order via one of our courier services or Royal Mail depending on the size and weight of your order or if you have selected the Express Delivery option.  If you are out then either service should leave a calling card to inform you that they have tried to deliver that day with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or which Royal Mail depot to collect your order.  If you have any difficulties please contact us at boutique@harmonyathome.co.uk

Q. Is there VAT on my order?

A. There is no VAT on Children’s clothing, footwear or belts. Hair accessories carry VAT at the standard rate of 20%, gifts and toys also carry VAT at 20%. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.

All deliveries outside EEC countries will be charged exclusive of VAT.

Q. How do I pay for the goods?

A. You can pay for your order by using the following: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Delta/Connect, and Maestro. We do not accept Diners, American Express, cheques or cash on this website. We can take payment for personalisation and gift cards over the phone. If you don’t wish to use the website, you can call us and place and pay for your order over the phone, or pop into our store at 29 Warwick St, Worthing and pay with cash or debit/credit card.

 Q. Can you deliver anywhere?

A. Almost! We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, Military addresses and certain countries where we cannot guarantee the status of recipients. Please just email us at boutique@harmonyathome.co.uk if you are unsure and we can check for you.

Q. What do I do if an item does not fit or I don’t like the colour?

A. Return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt, unused and with the original labels attached. You can reuse the packaging in which you received the goods.

Please email us prior to making the return detailing why you are returning the item, so we know whether to replace the goods with a different size or colour or credit you…whichever you prefer. If you require a refund, it will be made promptly providing that the item is in its original condition and all the information referred to above is received. The credit card used for the original purchase will be credited with the original price. If there are any problems with your refund, a member of customer services will contact you.

Please also note that if you want an exchange, a further delivery charge will be payable.

The following items are non-cancelable and non-refundable:

Personalised items that are specially made, or ordered, with your choice of name, fabric, message or other customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements and therefore cannot be resold.

Q. What about postage on returned items?

A. You will need to pay the postage. We strongly recommend that you use Recorded Delivery, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. We will refund your postage in full on any faulty goods returned for credit or refund and will not charge postage for a subsequent replacement if requested.

Q. I am concerned about my privacy & security?

Card transactions concluded on this website are through PayPal and are transmitted using industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption. The secure servers are situated on a standalone private network completely isolated from other networks and connections. They have a single resilient connection to the Internet, which is serviced through dual dedicated ICSA compliant firewalls. The servers are further secured through “server lock” protection, with all credit card details encrypted through 3DES encryption. When you enter your order your browser will automatically inform you that encryption is being used. As a further level of protection, all data stored on the secure server is encrypted again and protected by a firewall, the specification of which has been recognised by the major banks. Your card details are kept confidential by PayPal at all times.

Q. What about payment, pricing & promotions?

All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling and are subject to change without notice. The carriage charge will be clearly displayed at checkout, so you will be fully aware of the total cost of your order before any payment is requested. We accept payment by Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Switch and Solo. Payment via cheque or postal order is accepted by prior arrangement – please telephone the shop for further details. You can also pay in our Worthing, store with cash, or over the phone!

Q. Can you clarify your returns & replacements policy?

You may return any goods which are unsuitable within 14 days of receipt. Returned goods must be in unused condition and complete with their original packaging. Charges incurred for return postage will not be refunded. Please ensure you have proof of posting in case of delivery problems. Refunds will be credited onto the card used for the original transaction and will be done so within 14 days.
